How we handle your information

When you use the contact form on this website, we collect the information you provide: name, email address, phone number (optional), and your message.

We use this information to respond to your inquiry and to follow up about it — for example, to confirm the details of a catering order or to answer a question we could not answer in one reply.

Contact form messages are sent through our email provider (Resend), which may process message data to deliver email.

How long we keep things. Analytics data is retained for 14 months, after which Google deletes it. Contact form messages stay in our email records, the same as any other email we receive, so we can refer back to an earlier conversation. If you would like a message deleted, ask us and we will remove it.

We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how the website is used. It sets cookies in your browser and Google processes the resulting information on our behalf. We record which pages are viewed and a small number of actions: taps on a phone number, on a link to directions, on an online-ordering button, and on a link to our Google reviews, along with successful contact-form submissions.

These measurements are never linked to the details you type. We do not send your name, email address, or the contents of your message to Google.

Advertising. We advertise with Google Ads. So that we can tell which ads bring people to the restaurant, this website also carries Google Ads conversion tracking, which records when someone taps the phone number or a link to directions. These records tell us an ad led to a call or a visit; they do not tell us who you are.

The phone number you see may be a Google forwarding number. Google Ads uses a feature called dynamic number insertion, which can replace the phone number displayed on this website with a temporary number that rings the restaurant exactly as our own line does. The call connects normally. Because it is routed through Google first, Google records details about the call — such as when it happened, how long it lasted, and the area it came from — and uses them to attribute the call to an ad. Our published number, (205) 979-6495, always reaches us directly if you would rather not be routed.

Advertising cookies are set for visitors outside the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. Visitors inside those regions have both analytics and advertising storage switched off by default, and are not measured for advertising.

Our home page and contact page each embed a Google Maps frame so you can see where we are. Google may set its own cookies when that map loads, under Google's privacy policy rather than ours.

You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings at any time. The website works normally without them — nothing on it requires cookies to function.

This website does not have user accounts, and it does not take payments. There is no checkout here and we never ask for card details on this site.

Links to external services such as DoorDash, Google Maps, Facebook, and Instagram are governed by those services' own privacy policies.
